Tiffin University Strength and Conditioning
General Information
Tiffin University is a small NCAA Div. II university located in Tiffin, OH. The mascot at Tiffin is the dragon. Currently there are twenty-two athletic teams that compete at the Div. II level. The Dragons are members of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC). The Strength and conditioning department is in charge of making sure that every student-athlete at Tiffin is in shape and prepared to compete.

Jenni Rosselit
Jenni Rosselit is beginning her first season as the strength and conditioning coach for Tiffin University. She has worked the previous two seasons with the Dragons men's and women's basketball and soccer teams.
A 2007 graduate from Tiffin University, Rosselit was an accomplished athlete in both women's basketball. A goalie for the women's soccer team from 2003-2006, Rosselit set the school standard for 19 career shutouts, including a single-season record 14 shutouts in 2006 while earning All-American honors. During the season, the Dragons finished with a 17-4-2 record, an NAIA Sweet 16 appearance and a Region IX title.
A native of Ottawa, Ohio, Rosselit is the daughter of Nick and Lori Rosselit and is the oldest of nine children. After her graduation from Tiffin University, she received her certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Besides her duties with TU, she also serves as the Director of Personal Training at Bodyworks Fitness and Tanning in Tiffin, Ohio.

Josh Ison
Josh Ison is entering his third year as the Special Teams Coordinator, Linebackers and Head Strength Coach. In the 2011 season, Ison served in the capacity Special Teams Coordinator, Defensive Line and Head Strength Coach.
Ison comes to Tiffin from the University of Michigan where he worked as Special Teams Quality Control and TE (2009), DB (2010) after working as an Assistant Strength Coach during the 2008 season. While at Michigan Ison mentored Second Team All-American, Finalist for the Ray Guy and 5th round draft pick by the New England Patriots, Zoltan Mesko. He also spent one year working as a graduate assistant in Health Works Rehabilitation & Fitness Center at West Virginia University (2006-07) working with strength and conditioning.
Ison also spent five seasons as the linebackers coach at Fairmont State University (2003-07), where he coached three All American linebackers Ed Smith (2003), Matt Vance (2005) and Vince Black (2007) and six All Northeast Region players and the 2007 Defensive Player of the Year in the WVIAC. In his time at Fairmont State the defense was at the top of nearly every statistical category in the league at some point during his tenure, including 2004 when the defense was the best in the league and 20th in the country in total defense. Fairmont State also led the league once again in total defense in 2007 where they rated 15th in the country.
In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Ison was the head strength coach for the football team for two seasons and became the athletic department's director of strength and conditioning for his final three seasons.
Ison was a standout linebacker for Fairmont State and was a team captain during the 2002 season, and was part of the 2000 Falcons team that won the West Virginia Conference championship. Ison was a four year letterman at Fairmont State University at middle linebacker; (2002) received Don Hansen's Football Gazette All American Team. He attended tryout camp with Cincinnati Bengals as a linebacker (2003), and then went on to play in the Arena leagues with the Colorado Crush as a fullback/linebacker (2004) and the Manchester Wolves linebacker/fullback (2004). Ison also holds certifications from the USA Weightlifting Level I Sports and the American Red Cross.
He is a 1999 graduate of Waverly High School in Waverly Ohio where he was an All State linebacker. Ison earned a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Fairmont State (2004) and a master's degree in Athletic Coaching Education from West Virginia (2007).
Ison and his wife, Erin, reside in Toledo with their son, Joshua Zane Ison.

Lonny Allen
Lonny Allen serves as Athletic Director at Tiffin University.
Allen has been at the forefront of continuing the growth of the department in Division II and the GLIAC. Under his direction, the program has made many positive additions, such as the development of the Heminger Center, a 3.5 acre indoor practice and recreation center that also includes an indoor track and field complex, along with new facilities for the golf and wrestling programs.
In addition, Allen has overseen the addition of two new varsity sports (women's lacrosse, wrestling), along with helping develop new athletic offices as part of the Heminger Center along with expanding the size of the weight room and training facilities for the betterment of TU's athletes.
He recently finished his 21st and final season as the Head Baseball Coach. Counting his days as a student-athlete for the Dragons, he has been associated with the program for 24 years. He accumulated 444 career victories on the diamond.
Coach Allen is a 1992 graduate of Tiffin University with a degree in Sports Management. He has a Master's degree in Sports Administration from Bowling Green State University .
Coach Allen hails from Kermit, Texas. He graduated from Kermit High School and then played baseball at Hill Junior College in Texas before finishing his career at TU. He, his wife Julie, and daughters Macy, Brooke, and Zoey live in Tiffin.

I will expect to gain an understanding in scheduling, facilities management, and daily operations. This will help me later on in my pursuit of one day becoming an athletic director.
