My name is Kyle Kissling and I grew up in a small town just West of Toledo, OH. For as long as I can remember I have been greatly influenced by sports. As a child I was always playing some sort of sport whether it was baseball, basketball, or football. I was fortunate enough to be able to continue my football career into college. I played three seasons at Heidelberg University, a division three school in Tiffin, OH.
While at Heidelberg I double majored in Athletic Training and Sports Management. Athletic Training was very intriguing for me because it was a different aspect of the athletic world that due to injuries made me somewhat familiar with. I was able to work with just about every sports team that Heidelberg had. The experience helped me to further my passion for athletics. Upon my graduation in 2009 I was offered an Athletic Training position at Tiffin University, a division two school in Tiffin, OH.
The past three years have been a great experience for me. I have met many new people and got to travel all over the United States. My position at Tiffin has greatly enhanced my love for athletics. The sports that I have worked with have all been special to me in their own ways and have made me realize what it is that I would ultimately like to do.
I would like to one day become an athletic director at the collegiate level. Currently I am taking masters classes at Tiffin to gain the knowledge needed to make my goal happen. It has been an interesting couple semesters so far, but I am learning valuable skills that will help me along the way.
